ReZerve Paul's Vineyard Zinfandel

Dark Ruby, almost purple, with dark fruit aromas with pungent aromatic spice. On the palate blackberry and plum with coffee and black pepper notes, big firm astringent tannins on medium finish ending with toasty tones and alcohol burn. Tasting Sample. Ok, Not great.

Very bright, perfumed nose. Subtle fruit but opens up nicely with time - mouth filling and lengthy finish. Nice.

Chocolate on the nose. Subtle pepper that makes you want to come back for more. Smooth, medium long finish. Served with short ribs.

Great true flavor with no himt of oak and a deep fruit finish. Recomend you try and try and get a ccase

A real mouth full, even nicer finish

First glass had a lot of oak.. Almost had a bourbon aftertaste. The fruit and the oak made this wine very reminiscent of an old fashioned cocktail. Perhaps defective?
