Aug 9th, 20192016 V. No complexity. Full, round mouth feel , but not in an enjoyable way. I’ve had many good Zins from Amador, and this was not one of them.

Beautiful nose with wild flowers, sour cherries, blueberries, red apples, herbs, light vinegar and spices.
Light to medium bodied with long thin legs.
Very fruity on the palate with blueberries, strawberry, cherries, pomegranate, limes and black pepper.
Medium finish with spineless tannins.
Just ok .Nothing more than that. A little too acidic for me. Was much better with strawberries, but not a repeat buy for me.

May 7th, 2015Full bodied, yet not heavy zin with a little spice. Good for drinking with dinner. Doesn’t need a hefty grilled meat

Dec 22nd, 2020Very one-note. Fairly enjoyable in that it’s big fruit, medium/full body, although it’s missing any sort of complexity.
