A dark, dark plum color with little traces of brown. Noticeable bricking at the edges. Soft cherries and chocolate on the nose primarily but opens up to a little floral and spice notes. Still a good amount of fruit to be found here with raspberries and blueberries. The hint of vanilla and wood after a lengthy decant.
Napa Cab at 21 years of age, still going strong. After a decant of about two hours, this starts to blossoms. Big but not brutish at all. Feels more like an old school Claret at this point. Deep and still a bit sensual with soft tannins. Red and blue fruit dominant but you’ll also get some nice vegetal notes in the mouth. Still alive and kicking but the end is nigh. Drink em if you got em.

Impressively more fruit than I thought it would have. I bought two bottles of this and I don't think the other bottle had this much fruit. The cork disintegrated, but the seal was intact. Had to decant and strain, so this one was on a bit of a fast track. Started out with aged raspberry, "funeral flowers" and a bit of soil and mushroom. Picked up a tiny bit of pepper on the finish. All in all, very enjoyable wine. I think this one probably even has a few more years left. But, this is a good wine to pop and enjoy right now. Done by 2021

This is actually the 1995 vintage. Hard to see as it's low contrast and under the "2007..." label. Unfortunately corked, so no real note. Seemed like it had the stuffing to be all that, though.
