Looking for a cheap "deck wine"? Not here. Upfront honey is nice at first, chilled. But by the end of one glass, and it warms up, that honey is just overbearingly sweet and cloying. 2013. $11. 11.5 ABV. Look elsewhere.

Very sweet wine. Not my favorite but ok for summer. It had an unusual “gas” like smell.

Light spicy, peppery notes, not super sweet. Pear, white peach. Not much of a nose. Herbal, almost medicinal notes on nose, under-ripened fruit - maybe melon or pears, new tennis balls. Paired well with candied togarashi spiced walnuts. Changed texture to richer, creamier.
