Pale lemon yellow color with promising green apple, pear. lemon cream, and limestone aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied, fresh and harmonious with a creamy texture, and apple, pear, lemon zest, vanilla, a kiss of tropical fruit, and subtle spice flavors. Lingering finish

The oakiness of this wine saved it from tasting like grandmothers smell. Over all more of a bad Pinot than a chard.

Ive tasted this several times at the winery, but never sat down with a bottle for a meal. This is a rich and complex wine. There's petrichor earth from the grapes, toast and vanilla from the oak, some butteriness, and plenty of fresh rich fruit--from lemon, peach, to hints of melon. And it really blossomed when eaten with cheese topped with jam, which makes me think...is there a teeny, tiny, dollop of sugar here? At just over 14% abv, it could be that, too. Super curious to see what a few years does to integrate all of this.

2012 Napa chard. Some oak and butter, but fruit and acid to balance.

Lean but not mean, and pure. Best in a few more years.

Pure fruit, perfect balance. Classy and classic.
