Sep 2nd, 2021Just a delicious mountain zin. Wonderfully fresh and generous, plum, pan forte and church incense and candied violets. Minerals, black pepper and black fruited palate. Youthful, balanced and perfectly integrated front to back. Well done Skyla!

Mountain berries (literally!), bramble fruit, tilled earth, violets. I like how high relatively high elevation of this vineyard (above 2,000 feet) and volcanic soil bring out freshness in this Zinfandel.
