Salto Wild Yeast Moscofilero
Not Muscat, but you would think it is smelling this tasty, floral wine. Grapey flavor and aroma mix with violets and other flowers that draw a feather from the Muscat grapes cap. Moscofilero is a distant relative of the ancient Muscat varietal. This one is high in acidity and delicate in color and flavor.

Surprising carbonation and acidity for a moschofilero I’m guessing due to the wild yeast. Love it.
Refreshing expression of this varietal.

Tart, almost steely. Floral and citrus, with a light salty and spicy finish.

Mar 31st, 2018Wild yeast! Unexpectedly instead of a Minotaur in a bottle we were warmly greeted by one of the most pleasant Moscofilero wines we've ever tasted. Pleasant and well rounded presentation of light body dry wine with apple and citrus free from any oak or yeast that we could notice.
