This newly released 2016 Tinta Rouge SGT (Shiraz, Grenache, Tempranillo blend) cones from the Lower Swan. According to the Sittella team, it's a perfect match for salty foods, particularly cures meat like jamon and prosciutto.

On the eye it's a gorgeous vibrant red purple colour (again another nail polish shade I'd love). The nose is a black and red fruit medley with a bit of mint and spice coming through. On the palate it's mouth-wateringly juicy with a nice refined tannin backbone. Cherries and liquorice stand out for me. Completely moreish.

I'm a big fan of this red blend by Sittella, it's just perfect for #TCWeekdayWine drinking!
On the eye it's a red with magenta tinge, Mr. Spittoon even commented on how stunning the colour was when he poured it. Smooth creamy aromas full of vanilla cigars, plenty of fresh berries and a bouquet of freshly bloomed roses. The palate is juicy, fresh, vibrant and so freaken gluggable during this rainy weather. I don't know what happened to the contents of the bottle as suddenly I turned around and it was empty 😜
