Macerated, stone fruits; overripe pineapple, yellow florals/lilies, nice volcanic minerals, green apple, thick, round and very rich. Acidity is really nice as is the finish.

Crazy big. Seemed like there was some skin contact. Ripe stone fruits, custard, honey. Heavy viscosity. Let it sit in the glass for awhile and it could have been a desert wine. Interesting but not something I'd want everyday

Tasted from the dining room of the lovely SS Legacy, thanks to generous passengers who see fit to bring their own favorite bottles along on a wine cruise. Sine Qua Non's white Rhône-inspired blend dubbed The Monkey 2010 proved to be a honey-hued showstopper. Rife with peach pit, apricot kernel, orange pastille, smoke, buddha’s hand lemon, and warm spice. It's a compact, fleshy, decadently creamy wine. Slightly hot on the finish, ending with a flourish candied orange peel and mineral undertones.

10' Sine Qua Non The Monkey. Decanted it for 1 hour. Wet straw in color. Roussanne , Viognier, Chardonnay blend. The nose is unique and expressive. This is the kind of white wines I love to drink! Toes the line between beautiful fruit & palatable acidity.
It's got everything going on in this bottle. The mouth-feel and weight of this wine is close to flawless. Honeysuckle, pear, melon, and slate. EVERYTHING. Drinking in it's prime now, with 8/10 great years in it. Decanting this did the trick!! 93+

Big Viognier nose and the standard Manfred richness. Too bad it doesn't go with food
