A very savory and quite delicious bourgogne from the good folks at bize. Lots of earth, relatively full in mouthfeel and body for a burgundy, dark cherry, great acid. Decanted 2 hours. Nice pairing with chicken thighs roasted with feta and olives.

Laura’s gift from Chambers, 2018 on 12/6/2020. Very sturdy structure. One of the two best whites of the year. Not full rich plump fruit but angular firm edged grape, made from good decisions at every stage. Stand up fine to salmon/cannelini/fennel dish.
