Dark red purple with deep magenta mousse. Not much on the nose, but powerful red fruit and tar on the palate. Firm acidity and medium tannins combine with bubbles to be a wee bit aggressive on the palate. Long, dark, smokey finish.

Not a terrible example of a sparkling Shiraz, but the fruit forward notes are not as strong or smooth as I wished for.
