Excellent wine from Paso. Tastes like a very complex Pinot but it's a blend of 4 Rhone varietals. Grenache, Syrah, Petite Syrah and Viognier.

Red berries (currant, craisins, and raspberry) nose. Flavor is earthy and acidic. Bit of black cherry. Lots of jammy goodness. Streak of tannin and some bitter backbone. A pretty smooth operator overall though. For so much Grenache is full bodied and smooth on the finish.
