This wine is very dark in color and bombastic on the nose and palate. Aromas of ripe, dark fruit burst forth, accompanied by earth notes and oak spice that was maybe a little heavy-handed. Still, it’s a party on its own. Flavors of blackberry, plum, blueberry, licorice and clove are as muscular as one would expect from the grape. The huge finish lasts quite some time.

This is a gorgeous Israeli Petite Sirah. Big, bold and beautiful. Rich and extracted.

Dark inky in color with a delicious nose.

Showing blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, raisins, alcohol, vanilla, earth, cedar, chocolates, licorice, mocha and coke.

Tasty and young and will be better in 5 years.

Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.

Needs 3 hours to open up and show the tannins.

Reminds me of a Napa Petite Sirah.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

15.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

Deep inky in color with a short purple rim.

Very fruity on the nose with blackberries, sweet plums, raisins, dried figs, tobacco, spices, cola, vanilla bean, cedar, licorice, chocolates, mocha, coffee and peppercorn. Smells like its from Napa Valley.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, raisins, dried figs, cooked cherries, cedar, leather, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, peppercorn and light earth.

Long finish with round tannins and spices.

This is a nice surprise. This is a great Petit Sirah from Israel. Big, bold and extracted. Rich and tasty. Tastes very much like a Napa wine.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 3 hours of airtime, when the tannins show up and bring more structure.

Still young and overwhelming, although I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 to 5 years.

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Unfiltered and kosher.
