Nose of yeast, grapefruit and some herbs. This is great! For the following vintages, they had a different company doing the secondary fermentation (Sektkelterei), so there are differences. But I hear the 2010 and 2011 are great as well.

Gimmie shelter! Delicious sparkler from the Baden region of Germany. 100% Pinot Noir from a husband and wife team. Their care for the vineyards is so apparent when tasting this. It's elegant and refined, yet bodacious. Don't get it too cold- it opens up beautifully with a little warmth.
