I am biased towards South Australian reds but this one is as good as SA ones.

Dark, sinister nose of smoke, grilled meat, grilled herbs, toast, bushfire... Luckily on the palate it's suave and shows sweet macerated fruit, black pepper, dried sausages, cough syrup and some notes of cola, licorice and chocolate, too. Cool acidic frame leaves a clean and fresh impression. Very interesting wine from this relatively cool region. Like.
