Ripken Vineyard Graciano
Smells like blackberries and lavender soap. Tastes much better than soap.

Jul 3rd, 2015Beautiful, explosive & layered! Nose of roses & other floral notes, cherry, plum, red raspberry preserves, vanilla. Mouth explodes in mouth from the tip of tongue throughout; sour red cherries, ripe red raspberry, pomegranate, vanilla cream and a little pepper with faint hints of cloves. Balanced! So lovely!!!

Mar 1st, 2015In Rioja, Graciano is often blended w Tempranillo. Here it stands alone, confoundingly aromatic w roses & violets on the nose and tart cherry on the palate.

Oct 10th, 2014Oh wow. Holy mother of noses!! So freaking pretty with flowers and roses and dried blueberries. Honestly one of the more interesting wines I've tried in a long time. In the mouth it's light, yet flavorful. Slightly clipped finish, but man...that nose! @Evan Gallagher (I would also add, after an good 1.5 hours in the glass, much richer and longer finish)

Aug 26th, 2015Really fresh and funky version of this grape. Light and aromatic, but with a long finish. Love it.
