Cattoo California Petite Sirah

Funny, funky cat drawing label. Very dark color. Smells like very ripe Santa Rosa Plums and wet hiking trails. Maybe just a hint of roasted winter squash. Flavors are on point for Petite. Berry and licorice. Drying tannins. Chew, chew, chew. Berry compote in there too. It’s not super complicated nor complex. But it’s very true to type. And gratifying. Nice stuff. Even if it’s cat themed….

Dark leathery fruit nose. Robust mouthfeel. Rich fruit but not pruny. Tannic early finish. Warm full fruit long finish. Good.

Very good, full bodied, vanilla, chocolate.
