Seems like they are just starting to figure out oak. Too much vanilla and coconut for merlot. Palatable.

Nice smooth wine with lots of flavor - good value for price.

A pleasant wine. A bit light on the nose with floral and smoke. Legs noted. Color is a dark garnet. Flavor intensity is medium with plum, cherry, sweet spice and cocoa on the palate. Tannins are medium and body is medium. acidity is medium +. Finish is medium but the wine seems just a bit hot. Good for a midweek meal.
