Nice style of label. But kinda fake. Color is rose petals in the sun. Smells like cherry juice and hot asphalt. Bit hot with ABV. Flavors are more of a CA red than the balanced stuff from around Yolo county. Lacks the subtle citrus/blood orange. It’s more dried fruits. Red plums and cherry perhaps. It’s got just a hint of brandy. Or maybe bourbon. This would be spectacular if it wasn’t so high in alcohol.

Amazing how light this is for a Grenache but it drinks really well. Served with salmon it is half Pinot/half Grenache, makes for a tasty combo. Fruity, no tannin, drinks great right now!

Strong dusty minerality opens up to a nice bit of fruit on the front. Pale color almost made me think it was a Pinot. Should've known better with the high alcohol percentage.
