They sold this vineyard but Casey planted this in the early 80's. This is 100% merlot lots of red plum and cherry fruit with notes of herbs and light spice. A very juicy merlot with smooth silky tannins. Finish 35+. Excellent

Merlot vines planted in 1982. The oldest plantings in Walla Walla. Delicate oak and tannin. Remarkable Merlot.

I am legitimately stunned how well this wine goes with pan seared salmon, despite how "big" it is.

Light, food friendly, slightly sweet. Probably great with dessert

Pitch perfect Merlot. Dense and lush, with full body yet polished round tannins. Plenty of earth, spice, and savory elements without being vegetal.

Thought it was delicious, very silky, and starting to show some developed flavors.

Great mid palet. Medium body with spicy tannins but lacking depth and finish for a higher score.
