Dateline: trapped in Miami thanks to American Airlines. Took the team to a nice steakhouse to make up for not being in Panama right now. The food is good. Waitstaff is terrific. Wine.... Meh.

I prefer the merlot of this brand, which is a nice large scale wine with good value. The cab sauv is ok enough. Some cocoa and coffee, plums and dark fruits. A little green.

Delicious cabernet that's easy to drink and goes well with any red meat meal. Eaten with peppers stuffed with ground beef.

Dry & big & bold. Love it! Affordable, too. A little spice/pepper. Great with a steak!
