Sesta Di Sopra Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2016: Medium-plus bodied. Well structured & balanced. Velvety tannins. Red & dark fruit dominate. Leather. Tobacco. Oak. Earth. Long smooth finish. For me, this was a beautiful classic Brunello that delivered in taste and expectations. You will definitely need time for it to show its true beauty however you won’t be disappointed. Still holding up nicely with good structure. Tobacco and leather on the nose. Nice tannins on the pallet that move into a fine long finish.
