Deep, dense and concentrated with ample red fruit (cherry, red currant) smoky bacon oak coming through, lovely meaty leather notes. Broad, quite Gevrey 1er Cru smelling. Delicious! Medium to full, textured, meaty, good red fruit, light to medium tannic grip and balanced acid, a wine of 8+ years.

The 2011 is not ready so there on the 2012 in June. Gorgeous deep fruit, 10 was a hot year. Deep sweet cherry. Post ferment max station gives more savoury notes. Hint of green, herbaceous note. Minerally, earthy. Wowzers. Textured, complete, powerful. earthy, smoky, probably the best PN in Marlborough. Meaty, animal length. Wow!
