A beautiful wine , a little on the oak side for my personal taste but a good wine none the less .

1 person found it helpfulJun 20th, 2021Lake Nelson had too many sand flies so had to jaunt down the road for 10 minutes to this river campsite. Was only $5 bucks per person for the site. This wine helped heal the wounds of the flies. Dense, killer weight, a touch waxy and plenty oaky. Killer views from their tasting room too.

Jun 24th, 20152012: lovely fragrant nose, white flowers, mineral, quite ripe peach and a hint of tropical. Vanilla. Lovely balance of acidity, mineral, leesy texture, creamy but still lively. Lightly oaky on the finish, hint of buttered toast. A superb wine that beat Burgundy, California and South Africa on our Grape Debate evening on Chardonnay (sub £20 - but also beat others above £20)
