This is classic Zinfandel, the way it tasted when I first started drinking wines 20 years ago. Deep purple color and great aromas of BlackBerry and a slight touch of vanilla it's not over extracted, possibly owing to a cooler damper year. The finish on this one is stellar. It goes on with notes of black berry, black cherry and Hibiscus. Elegant, lightweight for Zinfandel and really just delicious.
