Nose: dusty. Cedar. Light leather. Boysenberry, cherries. Plum. Pencil shavings. Taste: rich plum, Smokey oak, cedar, dark chocolate, coffee finish. Some herbaceous notes. Cherry. Smooth but rich. Med+ body, medium acid and tannin, dry. Me likey.

Very very good. Still one of the best single vineyards from Sequoia grove. 2015 is drinking nice with the aerator. Great nose.

We like this cab, big flavor, cedar and a nice soft tannin finish. A 2016, opened in 9/19.

Dark purple in color. Very hot on the nose with big shoe leather aromas. Wine lacks fruit, but it might be a tad young. Minimal decanting did soften things up. Little to no finish. Pretty much your run of the mill $25 Napa Cab.

Oct 23rd, 2017Part of a wine tasting I held. This came in 2nd last, but it was up against some good competition. I was surprised it didn't show better, but probably could use more age or air.
