2014. I'm glad I have a few more bottles of this. My first impression was that there was too much oak but… I think I was wrong about that. I believe I just opened this one way too soon. This wine has all the tools for the long distance: fruit, acid, structure, and concentration. Right now it has delightful texture but it's a little bit awkward in spots. That is, I realize, just youthful exuberance. This complex chardonnay is going to be ready for its close-up at some point. But not right now. Give it a few years. You both deserve it.
