Costco purchase, a tad more bitter & spice/less smooth fruity notes than prefer with this variety and light to medium bodied wines. Prob won’t repurchase.

On the nose, a little spicy and a little gamey: clove mixed with red berries and forest floor. Darker on the tongue with medium acidity and tannin. Plum and blackberry notes take over, leading to a vegetal and slightly bitter finish. Not bad, but not amazing.
