Fun, easy, thirst-quenching. This is not a serious wine and I love it for it. Just a spatlese with plenty of juicy fruits, ripe aromas, and little complexities of verbena and mineral. Great companion for crappy Chinese takeout and couch lounging on a hot night.

Nose is comprised of petrol fumes and ripe red apples. The palate brings some of the acid, and all of the sweetness you'd expect, but the buckets of gloppy sugar are just too much for it.

This is still quite young, but there is complexity underneath the exceedingly fresh fruit. Pronounced acidity and a touch of petrol that will come out nicely with age.
