Not stored properly so it has aged prematurely. From a 1.5L that smelled of petrol(marmalade) and ripe peaches, honey and ripe mango. On the palate it still has incredibly intense honey and ripe tropical fruit character. The sweetness is balanced by the mouthwatering acidity and has wonderful Mosel minerality.

First bottle for new year at Frog Hollow 1/7/19 after weeks of no or Kirkland wines. What a relief and a stunner of mature Auslese. Golden honey color and explosion of floral and petrol acidic notes and stones with rich unctuous palate that's so balanced and long complex finish. So yummy didn't want to mix with food.
