This feinherb comes off as nearly dry- almost a holbtrocken style. Precise, saline, linear and laser focused yet highly expressive and generous. Very characteristic of the vintage in terms of its overall appeal and early drinkability. A bit pricey for this category but Selbach has undeniable pedigree and this bottle will go the distance.

This 2014 Feinherb Riesling was my first experience with Selbach Oster, and they are now among my top 3 favorite wine producers. So consistent in the quality of their Riesling, this Feinherb tiptoes a beautiful line between sweet and dry. Delivering classic, decadent fruit flavors without being too sweet. Crisp minerality is very refreshing, and this is reflected in the perfumes of this Riesling.
