This is a classically styled California Zin made from centurion old vines. Blackberry, fruit preserves, baking spice, sun dried tomatoes, kirsch, balsamic. Despite that dark and deep tones it is fairly balanced and more polished than its peers. Seghesio is a great producer and this is their flagship wine but if I had to choose I’d recommend their Cortina vineyard over this.
