This is actually Sebastian David’s Primatif Georgian Orange wine. (Guessing he consulted or acted as a broker) Made with a blend of Rkasitelli and Mustave grapes. Brilliant orange color. Bountiful aromas and flavors of dried fruits (apricot, peach, figs and dates) with hints of spice and dried mushrooms. Touch of caramel on the long finish. Pleasantly funky, intense, concentrated and well balanced. Fine tannins and just enough acidity. Totally interesting and simply outstanding! Thanks for the gift, Kase.
