Found this '07 collecting dust at a local grocery store, the last of its kind apparently. Dark purple with brown hues, the nose sports old vegetation with dark red and black fruit. A bit of cooking spice and composted earth also there. The palette is medium bodied, still showing good acidity. Flavors of dark earth, plums and stewed red fruit come through, followed by a light kiss of oak. It's an okay bottle but nothing I'd call spectacular.

Not as rich as the Napa wines, but I kind of like that, a little sensibility. Drinks well, amazing QPR
