One glass deep and in pursuit of giving this a proper read I had to recork it in lieu of immediately demolishing the bottle in an orgy of self-indulgent hedonism. The 2014 picks up where the 2013 left off. Richer, darker, with slightly more structure yielding a more true meritage style, but just as damn delicious.

This is a lovely meritage blend that could qualify for one of the highest QPR scores here! I think it’s key to success is the low tannin that makes it just wonderful for easy sipping. A great wine.

Good on night one, better on night two. Will be drinking very well with some age. Nice fruit and spice finish. Very good value wine.

This is a delight. Nice fruit, velvety but present tannin, tobacco and cedar.
