Decant or cellar this delicious young wine for best results. This joint effort by Mr. McLeod and Mr. Parish is everything one would hope for in a Claret - medium-big body, refreshing bright acidity, and cherries as dark as the blackest night. The lingering tingly finish delivers on the earlier promise of dusty dark chocolate tones.

This was better than the same bottle last year. Tannins were more mellow and able to taste more of the blend. Highly recommend decanting for an hour beforehand.

2014 vintage - loads of cherries and dark berries. After a couple of days, this really opened up with an additional note of raspberry framboise liqueur (Chambord).

Beat after it breathes a bit. So full and delicious.

Fruit forward. Red berries. Little structure.

Would like to give this a 9 but it is young and needs more time to soften the tannins. That being said, the Merlot provides good balance and makes for an enjoyable blend.

I enjoy this wine but my wife doesn't. This is a jammy wine. It is basically a blueberry/blackberry bomb. Very jammy with exceedingly mild tannins. Easy drinking on its own.

Good wine. My hubby loved it. Dark and smoldering, black cherry flavor, very dry, not too woody or tanniny. I didn't love it but I'd take to a dinner party for sure.
