Nose of smoke, leather, and rich concentrated prune and dried blueberry. Bold and concentrated, decently complex of leather, dried blueberry, a little smoke and some of the sangiovese tomato notes. Has nice acidity that is crucial in balancing the rich jammy notes. I didn't care for it on opening but 2-3 days later it really opened up. It's not my typical style I like, but it's quality and quite complex and nicely balanced!
