Ultra fresh Zin with a bit of funk on the nose but vibrant and a real pleasure to drink. Concentrated flavors but not overly ripe. Paired well with spicy mapo-tofu and dumpling!

Pickles. Green veg. Black pepper. Underripe cherry. High acid here, and decent tannins. Didn’t drink as hot as I would expect for 14%. This could sit for quite a while, but I just had to open one tonight. Tight at first, decanted for two hours, would have taken more gratefully.
