Holy. Holy. Holy. Scholium seems absurdly polarizing. I've really dug each bottling I've experienced so far & this 2010 Chardonnay is a well crafted masters thesis on why CA is already IN THE Future.

As you would expect with Abe, not your parents' Chardonnay - unless your parents were from Jura. Bright acid with vanilla and fino sherry oxidation. This could run many years more. Medium bodied.

I think this is the most "traditionally" varietal connected wine we have tried of Abe's. Still, it is Scholium, so there are detours - some oxidation and citrus peel.
