Lucky to taste the 2009 against the 2016 vintage, both excellent, but age beats beauty!

Oh so lovely ten years in! Leather, cherry, deep dark fruits.

Wow Fred! Another great Platt Vineyard designate pinot noir. 14.5% ABV. 230 cases produced, get your hands on this offering if you have the opportunity. Vineyard overlooks the town of Bodega, CA. Very cool climate, well farmed. Flavors: black, blue and red fruit, maraschino cherry, plum blossom, nuanced red beet and smoked meat. Has minerality and complexity. 2014 vintage has deeper-toner presentation. 93 points by Antonio Galloni.Quite frankly this is one of the best pinot noirs I have ever experienced. Paired with an Indian butter chicken, mixed salad, and Chocolate Black Out Cake! What an experience. This wine delivered with each menu item.

Still bright w some time left. No taint.

This is a Pinot for Burgundy lovers. The nose is glorious but the palate is also beautiful. Cherry pit, truffles, sous bois with orange peel on the end. A well balanced and satisfying wine.
