A luxurious library release from Fred and Judi. Just a hunch but the wine has the gentle tannins and fruit to cellar a few more years. Color is still a deep garnet with no signs of brick. Lively nose of black raspberry and a tinge of leather ( structure). Supple tannins.

Here is yet another cabernet that flies under the radar.... More compact and tight that most 05s this was and remain a classic Alexander cab..... More so given the soil type and stunning sweet flavor of cassis.... Wow what a great cab.
