5 hour decant and it barely made a dent. The rich decadent fruit is way up front and dominates the overall profile. There is present acidity and a well structured tannic profile that helped this cut through a steak. While Saxum always maintains balance even with rich fruit and high alcohol levels I think they show best when allowed to mellow for a decade, this is no exception as I believe it will improve significantly.

2014 is actually ready to drink, call me a heathen but put a slight chill on it and enjoy. Smells giant, settles into blueberries and deep red fruits. Great summer drinker, please open that bottle now!

Coravined 45 weeks ago. Still very good. Can’t tell that it was opened before.

Way too young... needs another 3-4 years before it really spreads its wings.. delicious nonetheless!

Young but spectacularly delicious. Why should we age these Don't know that I'll ever find out this is so good now!
