A big Washington GSM, this wine is slightly tart to balance the residual sugars. It is round and rich with the acidity balancing nicely with the complex tannins. Predominant flavors are currant, blackberry, and coffee in the finish. It perfectly complemented Korean soft tacos!

Another day, another GSM from the Walla Walla region. This one was mostly Grenache based, grown in the hot Yakima valley. Surprisingly spicy with strong earthy, cigar box undertones and rich flavors of dark plum and cherry.

Oh my goodness. It has that distinct burned minerality of the rock district of Walla Walla. No idea if the grapes actually come from there, but it sure smells and tastes like it. Medium to full bodied, mixed dark and red fruit. Nice spiciness enhanced by the Mourvèdre. Really liked it.
