Dark Ruby red, very good clarity, moderate pigment extraction. Leather, herb and white pepper nose. Plum, cherry and white pepper flavor, white pepper finish with tart plum aftertaste

Youthful, with loads of red fruit, cedar/tobacco and tannins. Signature Red Willow profile without the heavy extraction and concentration. This will reward a few years in the cellar.

A throwback to my first harvest. This was bottled after only a few months in neutral barrels. Still very youthful, but fleshing out a bit. Wish I had kept some more of these.

Just an outstanding pour from a small production Washington winery. Gorgeous nose of red berries, floral notes, and less herb than I expected. This is a young, delicate wine that is quite Loire-ish in structure. Strawberries, cherries, plums, and herbs. Wonderful, wonderful acidity with plenty of greenness. I hope you don't love your Franc overoaked because this ain't it. Fresh is the word of the day here. This reminds me how much I love Cab Franc.
