Honestly, Spanish wine is not my favorite, but I like this sexy Rioja. Beautiful dark ruby red color with very nice aromas of ripe & dried dark fruits, cinnamon, sweet basil, and cedar wood on the nose. Full-bodied coupled with savoury taste of ripe blackberry, raisin, vanilla cake, and mild sweet herbs on the palate. Powerful texture, smooth & sticky tannins, but a bit short on the finish.
