More berry flavor than usual. But medium dry. Light, but heavy Pinot.

Seemed medium bodied and balanced with a nice finish. Need another bottle... Update: opened up another bottle 20 days later in a different setting, and paired with a different meal: my positive opinion was reinforced. Pleasant aromas with some complexity. Medium plus boldness. Just enough tannins and acidity. Overall excellent at the $15 price point from Vons. Although I like to try new wines, I will stock up as a definite crowd pleaser.

2014, high alcohol 14.6, I thought this wine was not ready to drink, very tight with ultra concentrated flavors.

Brilliant color and crystal clear with a broad spectrum of violet hues. This wine captures the California air of clove, pine and eucalyptus. This wine grabs your tongue and lays down some velvety textures that run slowly off to the side.

Smells grapey. A hint of tobacco when swirled. Tastes tart, black cherry, dark chocolate right off. Ate spicy with it which only increased its juiciness.
