Nose is strawberry, figs, cola, slightly savory. Tastes of tart cherries, licorice, dark chocolate, dried herbs. Quite dry, a bit of astringency, dusty mouth feel, very structured tannins. Medium finish, all dark chocolate with some pepper and herbs. Paired well with spaghetti and roasted vegetables.
