Mar 28th, 2018My wife and I opened this wine to sip while we sat by the fireplace watching the hockey game on TV. We weren’t expecting anything of the wine but a pleasant sip, we pleasantly surprised,. This Merlot blend from BC’s esteemed Similkameen Valley is a wine from a small single vineyard producer that flies under the radar of most big label consumers. Scored at 87 by the National Wines of Canada, I rate it a respectable 8.6. With its smooth layerings of peppery, earth, chocolate, mocha and vanilla this wine is a real find at $20.00 CAD. At 14.5% alc/vol some may find it a touch hot. We enjoyed it and will again in the future. Oh our team won in a SO Cheers 🍷🏒🇨🇦
