Med plus aromas, rich and fruit forward nose: peaches, stone fruit, wet stone; palate is ripe and round with a persistent minerality and freshness that really lifts the wine, finishes long .

Caramel, butterscotch, burnt sugar, faint lychee/ripe apple, slight flint on the nose.

Tasted this at Sandhi’s tasting room in Lompoc and fell in love with this taut, flinty, mineral pracific sea breeze driven chard.

Acid remains racy and a pleasurable line of intensity on the palate. Fruit notes of green apple and the freshness of blades of grass are now subtly, beautifully fading into an after-the-rain-like petrichor that is lovely.

A flintiness handshakes a butteriness in terms of front texture and finish, lingering for a while. Secondary and tertiary notes of age are alive and brimming. Almondy.

Good. Great. Some more please.

Full bodied Chardonnay with melted butter on the nose, balanced, smooth. Apricots, lemon on palate. Nice.

Drinkable for sure. Exciting, not really. Full of baking spice.

The expected acid and lemon of a Sandhi. Personally haven’t noticed massive variation in Rajat’s wines across terroir.
