Paso Robles Petite Sirah

Rich and Ruby in color. Smooth on the palette and low in tannins. No lingering finish. A good Zin indeed.

Hot w oak tannin that rides the mid pallet until the cows come home

I enjoy Petite Sirah for the complexity - when done well (e.g. Elyse, Stags Leap) it offers stunning aromatics & big time mouthfeel w/fairly sturdy burly tannins. This was like AAA ball - well done but not the Major Leagues. Aromas weren’t so clear & delineated and palate was muddled. Air helped but still ultimately provincial.

Full bodied with mild tannins. Should drink with a meal.

Got out after 4 years in the cellars. Was very nice and quite strong!

Huge, not for most people.

Spicy, with maybe a little cherry and blackberry? Also maybe chocolate.

An all-time favorite

One of My favorite in so many respects. Petite Sirah which is a deliciously versatile grape, add some California coastal richly mineralized soil and infused with fragrant ocean air locked within this red grape. All this giving a blackberry character and round tannins, spiced notes with a hint of vanilla. Rather have a white wine. San Simeon Chardonnay will match u with the best in that varietal.

A really good petite sirah. And I don't even like sirahs.
